Tchad - Orchape
AREA DESCRIPTION: 340 000 ha ground and water situated on the south-east of Lake Tchad.
POPULAR GAME: Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Garganey, Teal, Hottentot Teal, Water Snipe, Jack Snipe, Great Snipe, Black Tailed Godwit, Spur-winged Goose, Comb Duck, Egyptian Goose, White-faced Whistling-Duck; Fulvous Whistling-Duck, Pochard, Knot (6 species), Hare, Common Moorhen, Francolin, Ganga, Dove, Pigeon and Guinea Fowl.
SHOOTING METHOD: Evening and morning fly shooting from a natural blind, like in Argentina, right under the ducks' “fly way” which was previously located with the help of the villagers.
Rough shooting for snipes and small game such as guineafowls. Fly shooting also for gangas, pigeons and doves.
