PHYSICAL DIFFICULTY OF THE HUNTING: 2 in 4/5 according to territories.
GUNS, AMMUNITION AND IMPORT FORMALITIES: Rifle with telescopic sight perfectly adjusted to 150 m in intermediate calibres like 270 Winchester, with a plastic butt if possible, because weapons suffer from the humidity. A HARRIS bipod (high model) is useful if you have time to prop it up when the shooting starts! The target should be either behind the shoulder, or in the neck to avoid damaging the venison. The deers are in full profile. You must send your European firearms card to Orchape at least six weeks before departure to obtain the weapons import licence for Scotland. Passport or of a national ID card of current validity is necessary.
EQUIPMENT: Warm and comfortable clothes + a Gore-Tex jacket if possible, good walking shoes with gaiters for Deer hunting and waterproof outfits in all seasons.
ACCOMMODATION: Full or half Board in a comfortable typical hotel or private lodge on the territories.
TRANSPORT AND TRANSFER: Flight to Edinburgh with Air France or Easy jet (2 hours) Aberdeen, or Glasgow, or travels by personal car, by ferry or Eurotunnel.
